River Farrar A river of Ross and Cromarty and Inverness-shire in Highland Council Area, the River Farrar rises in the Monar area to the east of Loch Carron. It flows 25 miles (40 km) eastwards through Glen Strathfarrar to join the River Glass near Struy. It passes through reservoirs that form part of the Strathfarrar Hydroelectric Scheme, including Loch Monar, Loch a' Mhuillidh and Loch Beannacharan.
