A small hamlet in the Inverness district of Highland Council Area, Struy lies at the northern end of Strathglass, 9 miles (14 km) southwest of Beauly. The Struy Bridge crosses the River Farrar to the northeast and the hamlet lies a half-mile (1 km) west of the junction of this river with the River Glass.
