Lochlands Hill is located in the extreme NE of North Ayrshire, overlooking Kirkleegreen Reservoir, 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of Beith. Its summit rises to 210m (688 feet) and is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. St. Inan's Chair lies on its steep northwestern slopes, and nearby is St. Inan's Well.
