A forested valley in the Central Highlands, Glen More descends from the Cairngorm Massif to Speyside in the west. The Glenmore Forest Park lies to the northeast and the Rothiemurchus Forest to the southwest. Cairn Gorm is located 3 miles (5 km) to the south southeast. The valley contains Loch Morlich, with its watersports centre, Glenmore Lodge (the Scottish National Outdoor Training Centre) and the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, together with numerous recreational facilities and trails.
