A craggy peak on the Tarmachan Ridge, situated a half-mile (0.8 km) west of the more prominent Meall Garbh, that lies on the border between Stirling and Perth & Kinross, Beinn nan Eachan rises to 1000m (3280 feet) 2 miles (3 km) west of the southern limit of Lochan na Lairige and 3 miles (5 km) north of Killin. Its summit is marked by a cairn.
