View Along Tarmachan Ridge

A small group of mountains arranged along a ridge in Breadalbane, the Tarmachan Ridge (or Tarmachan Range) lies to the west of Ben Lawers and north of Loch Tay. It comprises four peaks, the highest being Meall nan Tarmachan (1044m / 3425 feet). Crossing the boundary between Perth & Kinross and Stirling Council Areas, the three other peaks are Meall Garbh, Beinn nan Eachan and Creag na Caillich. The narrow Tarmachan Ridge provides popular hill-walking, with views towards Ben Lawers.
