One of two little bays which combine to form an inlet on the SE coast of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Ardilistry Bay lies to the northeast of Loch a' Chnuic, 2 miles (3 km) northeast of Ardbeg. Here the Ardilistry River flows into the sea.
