A summit in North Lanarkshire, Duntilland Hill reaches a height of 279m (915 feet) ¾ mile (1.2 km) north northeast of Salsburgh and a mile (1.7 km) east of Roughrigg Reservoir. There is a cairn on its summit and crags run along its southern slopes. Geologically, the hill lies on the western edge of a microgabbro sill injected into surrounding sedimentary rocks during Carboniferous times.
