Spidean Mialach

Located north of Loch Quoich in the Lochaber district of Highland Council, Spidean Mialach rises to a height of 996m (3268 feet). Its summit is marked by a cairn and the mountain is classified as a Munro. The northern flanks consists of a number of corries, whilst the southern flanks in contrast are uniform, grassy slopes. Its name originates from Gaelic but the translation is unclear, possibly "peak of the clouds" or "lousy peak".
