Beinn Dearg Mhor


(Beinn Dearg Mhòr)

Beinn Dearg Mhor is the highest summit on the rocky massif of Beinn Dearg on the eastern edge of the Black Cuillin in the centre of Skye in W Highland. It rises to 731m (2398 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) west of the head of Loch Ainort and 2½ miles (4 km) southeast of Sligachan. There is another Beinn Dearg Mhor located 5½ miles (9 km) to the southeast, amongst the Red Cuillin.
