Boghouse Locks

A set of four locks on the Forth & Clyde Canal in Old Drumchapel on the western edge of Glasgow, Boghouse Locks lie a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Knightswood. Opened with the canal in 1790, they rise from west to east and are numbered No. 33 to No. 36. Strictly they are not a flight of locks because there are basins between each. Clobberhill Locks lie a mile (1.5 km) to the northeast.
