A location in N Fife, Kilmaron lies on the A913 road 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Cupar. The location comprises Kilmaron Farm, Kilmaron Den, Kilmaron Hill and the ruins of Kilmaron Castle, a mansion built c.1820 to the designs of James Gillespie Graham (1776 - 1855) for the Dundee textile manufacturer Sir David Baxter (1793 - 1872).
