Grimbister


Orkney

A small settlement on north coast of the Orkney Mainland, Grimbister lies on the southern shore of the Bay of Firth 4 miles (7 km) west northwest of Kirkwall. The remains of the late 16th-century Hall of Cursiter lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the east, while there is a chambered cairn at Cuween, a similar distance to the west.
