Corpach Railway Station


(A' Chorpaich)

Corpach Railway Station (Gael: A' Chorpaich) is located in front of the village of Corpach in Lochaber, overlooking Loch Linnhe and Corpach Locks at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal, a mile (1.5 km) west northwest of Caol in Highland Council Area. This single-platform station opened on the West Highland Railway in 1901. Now operated by ScotRail, Corpach Railway Station is unstaffed and is used by only around 2700 passengers (2015). It is preceded by Banavie Railway Station, a mile (1.7 km) to the east, and followed by Loch Eil Outward Bound, 3 miles (5 km) to the west northwest.
