Parish of Kincardine

Kincardine is a coastal parish, which lies in Highland Council Area, some 13 miles (21 km) southwest of Lairg and 18 miles (28 km) east of Ullapool in Highland.

It is located in the old county of Ross and Cromarty, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 623.4 sq. km (240.7 sq. miles). Kincardine has 8 neighbouring parishes; namely Alness, Assynt, Contin, Creich, Edderton, Fodderty, Lochbroom and Rosskeen.
