Parish of Lonmay

Lonmay is a coastal parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 6 miles (10 km) north of Mintlaw and 6 miles (10 km) south of Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire.

It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 47.6 sq. km (18.3 sq. miles). Lonmay has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Crimond, Longside, Old Deer, Rathen, St Fergus and Strichen.
