Parish of Inveraray

Inveraray is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 19 miles (30 km) southeast of Oban in Argyll and Bute and 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Crianlarich in Stirling.

It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 191.8 sq. km (74 sq. miles). Inveraray has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Glassary, Glenorchy & Inishail, Kilchrenan & Dalavich and Lochgoilhead & Kilmorich.
